Yves Meynard has been publishing stories in both French and English since the late eighties. He has twenty-four books and over sixty short stories under his belt. Tor Books published his fantasy novels The Book of Knights and Chrysanthe. His writing has netted him sixteen Boreal and Aurora awards, as well as the Grand Prix de la Science-Fiction et du Fantastique Québécois. 

He has acted as anthologist for several books, translated stories into French and English, and was fiction editor for Solaris from 1994 to 2001. Having retired from software development, he now devotes his time to writing stories.
