Jo Walton is the Hugo, Nebula, and World Fantasy award winning author of fifteen novels. A sixteenth, Everybody's Perfect will be out in 2026. She has also written lots of poetry, and a collection of short stories, Starlings. She has published two collections of her essays about SF, and Trace Elements (with Ada Palmer) is due 2026. 

She grew up in Wales, but now divides her time between Florence and Montreal, where she does programme for the convention Scintillation. She reads a lot, and posts her reading lists on ReacTor. Her plan is to live to be ninety-nine and write a book every year.
